Known as one of Austin’s best dive bars, if there is such an accolade, Ginny’s Little Longhorn Saloon is small, crowded, and on the grungier side. That being said, the venue remains popular for its local country acts and old style dance floor. Don’t expect standing room. Many visitors sit outside and drink to the sounds of the music inside.

For something a little different on your visit to Austin, check out a symphony performance at the University of Texas at Austin campus.
