Hello everyone. Today I wanted to share a few big things up ahead for both myself and the blog. This has been such an incredible experience, and creating this travel blog is one of the best decisions I ever made. I envision amazing things for the future, and can’t wait to share all of those experiences here with you!

First of all, in case you missed it over the weekend, I did a guest post over on True Colours where I shared my five favorite places to visit in Kent. True Colours is a travel and lifestyle blog written by Casey- a former expat living in Portland who travels every chance she gets. She shares some really amazing pictures, and wonderful stories, so do check her out if you have a chance.

I will be leaving for London on Friday (for an entire week!) to attend the World Travel Market and various other travel events. Next week I will also be launching London Month here on the blog, so expect to read all about London’s coolest tours, attractions, and my favorite places to grab a bite on a budget.

In more exciting news, I just booked my plane ticket to Norway! In less than two weeks I will be flying into Oslo where I hope to prove that budget travellers can still visit the world’s most expensive city. (Or I’ll starve, updates to come.) Then I will be hopping a train on the world’s most scenic railway, enjoying seven hours of solo bliss through Norway’s beautiful landscape. My trip will end in Bergen where I hope to check out the world famous fjords, sample some whale meat, and visit an old friend from Oklahoma who now calls Norway home.

I am so excited for my trip, and can’t wait to share all of the amazing pictures and stories I encounter along the way. If you don’t already, head over to The Fly Away American Facebook page and follow along on my travels.
