At some time or another, we have all dreamt of living the celebrity high life. While selfies with hand prints at Mann’s Chinese Theatre and creepy celebrity home tours may be the closest you get to the spotlight, you can still feel like you made the A-list by staying at one of these swanky Hollywood hotels in Los Angeles.

Red Carpet Welcome at the W Hollywood

With a literal red carpet embellishing the lobby, the W Hollywood hotel is one of Hollywood’s most unique hotels. Rooms come complete with movie theater snacks, trendy decor, and a Whatever/Whenever service that will have you making demands rivalling your favorite diva. All of the area’s most popular attractions are close by, and rates are, surprisingly, quite reasonable.

Golden Age Grandeur at The Redbury

If you are more of a classic Hollywood fan, The Redbury @ Hollywood and Vine will immerse you in the Golden Age of entertainment. The hotel decor is reminiscent of an old time movie theater, with all that elegance and charm packed into the dreamy and spacious suites. Located on the iconic corner of Hollywood and Vine, the location can’t be beat.

Revel in Royalty at the Hollywood Roosevelt

This hotel may offer more than just that celebrity feeling, as you may run into one. The rich and famous have been staying at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel for decades, including Marilyn Monroe herself. The Hollywood Roosevelt also hosted the first ever Academy Awards, which is definitely Hollywood history at its finest. Rooms are modern with plenty of amenities, but the swimming pool is the real gem, still frequented by many of Tinseltown’s elite.

“Fake it till you Make it” at the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel

Okay, there is no red carpet awaiting your arrival at the budget friendly Hollywood Celebrity Hotel, but your friends won’t know any better when they see you “check in” on Facebook. The price for location is probably the best you’ll find, and though the accommodations are more modest than most, they are still more than adequate as a base while you explore. Save some cash on a room and use it at one of Los Angeles’s favorite celebrity hangouts instead. I’d recommend lunch at The Ivy, where you are almost guaranteed to spot a familiar face.

You’re a Star at Loews Hollywood Hotel

The best all-arounder is sure to be Loews Hollywood Hotel, where affordable rates, a terrific location, and fabulous rooms all come together in perfect harmony. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is right outside and a shopping mall is next door. Inspiration followed by shopping is always the best formula. There is also a Wolfgang Puck restaurant on-site and an incredible rooftop pool offering great views of Los Angeles at your disposal. What more could you want?

By the end of your stay at one of these stylish Hollywood hotels, you’ll be swatting off the paparazzi like flies. Maybe still in your dreams, but even celebrities had to start somewhere…
